UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites is far from perfect, but I still think it’s a better guide than anything else to find the most interesting and important places to see as a tourist, so I figured it’d be nice to come up with a list of how many I’ve been to.
So far I’ve only managed to visit just 143 sites, which is just over 12% of the 1,154 worldwide (you can see the full list here). Which means there should be more than enough to keep me busy for quite a while yet (not least the 14 back home in the UK that I still haven’t seen yet).
I’ve also included links to the blog posts I’ve written and the photos I’ve taken for all the sites I’ve visited since 2008.

Hi,
Just noticed you havent got Stonehenge on your list!
Its by far the best World heritage site in the UK so you definately need to make your way to Salisbury and check it out.
